For those of you that have actually looked at this blog - thanks - cause I haven't done anything on it, I know. Baby Evey was born on Jan 28th, 2009 but she wasn't due til March 28th. She was 3lb 11oz and 14in long. So tiny and so precious! She came home after 2 weeks but then got RSV and had to go back to the hospital. After 3 days she got so bad that she crashed (basically died) but the nurse was with her and revived her. She went into the Pediatric ICU (PICU) and has been there for 3 weeks. She had pneumonia and her lungs collapsed twice. It has been a horrible few months. BUT, she is doing better and is out of the PICU and in a regular Peds ward. She is off of the oxygen and the meds but is considered a drug baby because of all the heavy duty drugs they had to use on her to keep her alive. She is on Methadone and an antibiotic and is basically doing GREAT!! We love her and can't wait to get her home next week. She gained and lost but now is abt 19in long and 5lb 9oz.
We will be having another sweet baby born the end of May to Ethan and Rachel. They live in Tooele, UT now (I'm still mad about them moving away from us) but we love them anyway. The baby's name will be Tanner. (yes it's a boy) That takes us to 10 grand daughters and 2 grand sons! Wait!! Rick and Kim are having another girl in October! That makes 11 grand daughters!! Boy are we blessed!
Kora came thru her Tonsillectomy. She had such large tonsils and adnoids that the Dr said "Out with them!!" So out they went! She wasn't happy at first after the operation but mom and dad say she is doing fine now and can breath so much better! We love you Kora!
